TRAI is currently on top after beating the United States 3–0 last Friday to gain 11 consecutive matches without a loss since Martino's appointment. Under Martino, Mexico has been effective and fun to watch, but historically, Argentina has always been a tough team to beat El Tri, spending 16 years without a win against El TriSeleste.

The Argentine-born Martino is said to have hoped to go against the national team once between 2014 and 2016 with all his best weapons. In particular, Jesus Manuel "Techtito" Corona, Raoul Jimenez and Heering "Three in front. Chucky" Lozano is in the card, previewing El Tri's fans for what is one of the three most dynamic Mexican strikers in recent memory Can.

Of course, the same cannot be said for Argentina, who will not miss many key players. Those hoping to see Lionel Messi in action in the Lone Star State will be quite disappointed as the Argentine superstar is currently serving a three-month suspension. Apart from Messi, Argentina will not have regular customers such as Sergio Aguero, Nicolas Otamendi and Angel Di Maria.

However, regardless of the players on the field, Argentina always deserves a lot of respect, and although on paper it may seem like the most defeated Argentina team in a long time, no game against La Albicaleste is easy.
